The PDC Copyprint Franchise system started in the early 1980s when it became apparent, after the success of our company owned shops, that the "local print shop" had a lucrative market to capture.

We found that we could use our comprehensive printing and business experience, prior to the franchise starting, to help our franchisees build successful and profitable businesses.

All the board members/owners of the company have a wealth of expertise in all aspects of general business, as well as very specifically - sales and marketing, planning and management, business development and design communication. Apart from their involvement with PDC Copyprint they are all principals of their own business to business companies.

Our Managing Director, Stephen Ricketts, has been with PDC Copyprint since 1974 and has extensive experience in both the print industry and franchising. He is also on the board of The British Association for Print and Communication of which PDC Copyprint are founder members.

PDC Copyprint is also a full member of the British Franchise Association which means  we meet all the financial, business and ethical criteria of this highly regarded professional organisation.

PDC Copyprint are not the biggest in the world - nor indeed in the UK - and never will be. However we believe experience and proven success are more important than size.
