Established in 1981 ANC is the largest franchised express parcel carrier in the UK.Through our network covering the UK and Southern Ireland we provide our blue chip client base with a localised, flexible and responsive range of distribution services and that is what differentiates us from the competition.

With a policy of selling on service rather than price, we've avoided the "cheap and cheerful" market. Our reliability and quality helped us move over 21.4 million packages last year and generate revenues in excess of £100 million. In a market approaching £2 billion however, the opportunities for further growth are obvious.

Historically, our products were predominantly domestic. Now as everyday business becomes truly global, we too have invested in new services and partners to
link our customers to the rest of the world: Advances in global communications, and a shorter supply chain all mean companies now want one reliable supplier, where possible that's what we aim to be.

Our service offering is diverse, but evolutionary, we find gaps in the market and exploit them by creating value added solutions. This proactive approach has won us many new accounts and helped build stronger client relationships, whilst increasing the margins for our franchisees.

Your Commitment

We very carefully select our franchisees. Our selection is based primarily upon business acumen and commitment. Whilst funding is important, its not the primary criteria.

After all we have a duty of care to you and our existing Network to protect your investment by ensuring only the strongest applicants join. We will continue to be a fast growing and responsive Company. This requires franchisees who are ambitious yet sensitive to their customers needs. We therefore source business people who will work hard not only to win new business but also to develop and grow their relationships with existing customers.

Franchisees backgrounds are diverse, as we select on a broad range of business skills. The key is to secure individuals who share our desire to' build our business through providing the highest levels of service to customers.

Like other successful organisations ANC fully recognises the critical importance of its franchise partners in creating a strong and focused network. The need to ensure
consistent profitable growth, allied to personal development are therefore cornerstones in our overall business strategy

To ensure this happens rather than just pay lip service to franchisees "a tale often told", we have a dedicated central function, the Franchise Development Group. The groups primary function isn't about selling but rather one of assisting each franchisee to achieve their individual objectives within our Network. This function is critical because uniquely, ANC give franchisees the freedom to manage the key elements of their business, with specialist support when needed.

As our service is all about quality and customer care we involve all our people with an open and responsive management philosophy.


Your Investment and Reward

The initial franchise fee will vary depending upon the territory, and reflect such factors as the size of the area, the level of existing business and its potential. The overall fee will comprise an initial lump sum plus a royalty based upon turnover, allowing you to finance your business in line with its growth.

We will work with you in preparing a comprehensive financial plan to support any funding application to the financial institutions of your choice.

To reduce the initial capital outlay, almost all of the equipment that you would require in your business is available on finance agreements.

Before joining the Network you will have completed a comprehensive induction training programme with an existing franchisee which gives an invaluable insight in
the key areas of your business and prepares you for the opportunity ahead.

It is generally accepted that franchising minimises the risk of business failure as the franchises is supported by a proven track record. However, we recognise that in order to attract the quality of candidates we and our customers expect then an ANC franchise opportunity must offer much more than this.

Our franchisees who have delivered both sales growth and exceptional customer care over the last few years have seen substantial returns on their investment and we applaud their efforts.
