The Dating franchise with a
difference
Dinner Dates was formed by Hillie
Marshall in 1989 to arrange dinner parties so that single
professional people could meet in elegant social
surroundings for friendship and maybe even romance. With
over 7,000 members since it began, Dinner Dates is very
successful, working on the principle that the dinner
party is one of the most natural effective ways of
introducing people, avoiding the hazards and
embarrassments of meeting strangers alone in a public
place. It was the first organisation of its kind and now
holds over 300 dinner parties a year at such prestigious
venues as Claridges, The Ritz, The Kensington Roof Gardens,
The Elephant on the River and the Dorchester Club.
The Franchise Opportunity
Several factors combined to produce a
unique opportunity to own a run a profitable Dinner
Datesfranchise.
Firstly, the continued growth and success
of the parent company has generated considerable press
and television interest and coverage of the Dinner Dates
concept. The list of credits that we have enjoyed
includes BBC2 Food & Drink, Six O'clock live, Thames
Report, This Morning, Good Morning, Kilroy, Sunday
Express, New Woman, Cosmopolitan, The Times, The Guardian
and The Independent. This has created a high level of
awareness and a strong brand image nation-wide amongst
potential Dinner Dates members, which has resulted in a
flow of inquiries for membership from Lands End to John
O'Groats, that unfortunately could not be satisfactorily
supported by the London Office.
We have therefore completed a feasibility
study and launched the Dinner Dates franchise on the UK
market.
Franchisees will be able to use the
Dinner Dates name, operating systems, and advertising
material to set up a business in an exclusive territory
that is designed to be large enough to allow you to
achieve target figures in the Franchise Proposition
Business Plan.
