Everycare's services enables people with a care need to have the choice of staying in their home longer and buying in the support services that will help them to carry on an independent life style.

The Company

Everycare originated in April 1993 in response to the introduction of the 1993 Community Care Act, as a development of a highly successful residential care business.

Due to the remarkable success of the pilot operation in Cardiff which achieved a first year turnover in excess of £0.5 million, the directors launched the first franchise in 1994. The franchise network now covers approximately 20% of the UK population.

Everycare (Cardiff) Limited, where the pilot scheme was run, continues to be highly successful with a current annual turnover in excess of £1.6m.

The Everycare service

Everycare provides care staff to both private and social services clients in their own homes and qualified nursing staff to both public and private sector organisations providing health care services. Everycare has developed a tried and tested business system for the administration and successful development of all these services.

The total markets for these services are estimated to be in excess of £10 bn
annually in the UK.

The Everycare service breaks down into two distinct parts .

The Provision of Domiciliary Care Services

You will recruit a team of care assistants that are able to provide the supportservices that we offer that will enable your customers to have a better quality of life and be cared for in their own home.

The Nursing Agency

The Everycare Franchisee will also obtain business by the provision of a Nursing agency service. Our nurses are fully trained professionals that are able to provide full nursing care including such duties as administering medication changing dressings and liaison with GP’s as necessary.

Our nurses are very much in demand and you will quickly see that because of the quality of the nurses we employ we are able to attract high levels of income in this area of the business. Currently we supply nurses to Doctors, Hospitals, Prisons and Companies.

The Business Package

The business package comprises an initial two week training course at our HQ which incorporates a fully active office, assistance with obtaining Local Authority accreditation and necessary licences, local marketing data, complete stationery and promotional material, uniforms, bespoke computer software, operational manuals, staff manuals, IT support via the Internet and a pension scheme for all employees.

Franchisor Support

To assist franchisees in establishing their own nursing and domiciliary care business the Everycare team, headed by Mary Cottrell, are experienced in the commissioning and the administration of the daily operation of nursing and domiciliary care services. The team will provide guidance with marketing and setting up initial contracts in your area. There is a facility for ongoing staff training at our HQ, along with distance support via the Internet and a telephone helpline during office hours. There are half yearly franchisees conferences and continual support from like minded
professionals.

Franchisee Investment

Initial costs for the complete package is £14,750 + Vat. A typical total investment figure of £40-£50,000 is needed and includes the initial franchise fee, all start-up costs including setting up and equipping a fully functional office and initial marketing costs together with the necessary cash flow requirement.
