The Company offers a nationwide service via its network of existing franchises which are supported by company owned outlets. Metro Rod has built an enviable reputation for outstanding customer service and the provision of a highly professional Service. 

The Metro Rod Service

Metro Rod specialises in cleaning, repairing and maintaining pipes and drains for commercial, industrial and domestic customers. We offer an emergency response service (24 hours a day, seven days a week) and routine works through planned maintenance agreements.

Our Service Engineers are fully equipped with high pressure water-jetting units which, operating in drainage lines of 100 - 300mm, generate a pressure of 3000psi, and flow of 15 gallons of water per minute. The combination of pressure and flow enables blockages to be broken up and any debris flushed out.

As well as providing a complete pipe service we have developed specialist services such as drain and pipe lining in small bore pipework up to 300mm diameter. This service is carried out by our branches and experienced franchisees who are trained and equipped to carry out this specialist work

Our Service Engineers are also equipped to carry out closed circuit television surveys of all pipework. This equipment is used to locate structural defects which may lead to recurring or serious drainage problems. The information is recorded on video and given to the client together with a written explanatory report and recommendations.

Training and Support

At Metro Rod we offer a complete training and support package including a detailed training course which covers both technical and business aspects.

The support for franchisees is on-going and we are able to offer help and advice at every stage of the growth of your business. Franchisees are able to take advantage of our established national contracts and our management and financial advice at any stage.
