How to turn Childrens Soccer Coaching into

The Elms 5 Soccer School offers children between the ages of 6-12 the opportunity to learn soccer skills in a professional, well-managed and safe environment. All courses are supervised by fully qualified F.A. coaches and are held on Saturday mornings, school holidays and after school. Each child is encouraged to reach his or her potential and our Award Scheme ensures that it is not only talent, but effort and team-work, that is rewarded.

The Elms 5 Soccer Schools have been running since 1989 and have proved to be very successful. Presently, we are opening one new venue, approximately every four to six weeks. In 1997 alone, The Elms 5 Soccer Schools organised over 100 soccer courses for children.

Britain has over 7 million children. Of these, a very high proportion want to play football and dream of becoming a professional footballer.

Since The Elms 5 Soccer Schools were first established, we have introduced
thousands of boys and girls (and mums and dads) to the great sport of soccer.

In addition to the Soccer Schools, The Elms has been operating five-a side football leagues for men since 1992 and launched a franchise operation of the five-a-side leagues in 1996. The umbrella operation now covers 35 different towns involving over 4,500 players, 30 weeks of the year.

We have very high standards. The training that children receive must be interesting, stimulating and exciting. Whatever the pupil's standard, we ensure they feel a sense of achievement.

Our reputation and your success will be dependant upon the way you perform - which is why we give you thorough training in all aspects of running your Elms Soccer Schools.

We will cover the following:

Finding your venue
Promoting your schools
Finding your coaches
The coaching syllabus
Equipment requirements
Advertising and PR
Practical instruction on teaching skills

When you have joined our franchise, you will be required to attend a 2 day training session. All aspects of your Soccer School training will be covered in your manual.

When you have received your training, you will be offered continuous support from the franchise team at Central Support Office. They will be able to help with every aspect of your new business and are always available to answer your queries - such as selection of the most suitable locations, choosing the best coaches, publicity and administration. We are there to advise and help you run your business and remove much of the stress.

The start-up package will include full training, equipment, clothing, certificates and stationery- everything you need to start your own Soccer School.

The beauty of this franchise is that you can run Soccer Schools on Saturday mornings, after school, half-terms and holidays. Although our concept is simple, it is effective and popular.
