Mission Statement
The mission of UNIGLOBEŽ Travel is to become the
largest and most profitable travel organisation in the
world which sets the standard in the industry for
professionalism and reliability to the customer. This
will result in consistent profitability for its Agencies,
the UNIGLOBEŽ Regions and the UNIGLOBEŽ International
organisation.
History
UNIGLOBEŽ was founded in 1979 by U.Gary Charlwood and
Michael Levy and began operations in 1980. Michael Levy
was president and Chief Operating Officer for UNIGLOBEŽ
Travel (International) Inc. from 1991 until 1995. He is
now the Managing Director of UNIGLOBEŽ Travel (Great
Britain & Ireland).
Corporate Philosophy
The goal of UNIGLOBEŽ is to be "THE" brand
name in the retail travel sector. The cornerstone of our
programme is that the UNIGLOBEŽ travel agent is
committed to providing the highest standard of service
and performance to its customers.
The Franchise
UNIGLOBEŽ Franchisees grow quickly by initially
focusing their sales efforts on the smaller business
accounts. Whilst many large agencies concentrate on large
corporate accounts and multinational corporations, there
are relatively few who are specifically geared to offer
the same level of personalised and professional service
to small businesses.
By building a large number of small accounts, the
UNIGLOBEŽ franchise owner can grow the business quickly,
safely and profitably offering these customers specific
UNIGLOBEŽ benefits such as corporate travel policy and
procedure programmes, hotel and car discounts, best
airline fare search, and custom designed information
reports, all features which help differentiate a
UNIGLOBEŽ travel agency from the competition.

Once a solid foundation of business has been built,
the UNIGLOBEŽ agency takes a proactive approach towards
diversifying into the lucrative and rapidly expanding
leisure market, initially by satisfying the vacation needs
of it's "captive" market. It will then seek
other opportunities in the value-sensitive segment of the
leisure market.
In the early stages of the life of the UNIGLOBEŽ
agency, it's overall business base will be heavily
weighted towards corporate. As it matures the balance
between corporate and leisure will gradually shift, and
it is intended to ultimately settle at around a 50/50
split.
Franchise Support
Each region maintains a department dedicated to
providing the franchisees with business support, using
specially developed UNIGLOBEŽ programs. They are
designed to focus the energies and resources of the
franchise on those activities necessary to build a
successful and profitable business, including sales,
marketing, operational and financial issues.
Together, the programmes and elements that comprise
the UNIGLOBEŽ franchise are designed to enable the
UNIGLOBEŽ agency to develop lifetime customers, that is the loyalty of
business and leisure travellers who believe, with just
cause, that their UNIGLOBEŽ agency will provide the
right travel product for their needs, at the right price.
UNIGLOBEŽ has developed a specialised training and
support programme for its franchisees and members of
staff that are aimed at increasing profitability and
individual performance.
In addition we have developed specific schemes for use
by our franchisees to attract and maintain corporate
customers. Examples of these schemes are our business
travel plan and our 7*24 rescue line for world-wide
emergency travel service.
Franchise Costs
Opening costs for a UNIGLOBEŽ franchise is Ł45,000
which includes the franchise fee. In addition you will
need working capital and we will discuss the required
amount with you.
